The book is easy to read. It’s like a commentary and a condensed and dramatic version of the story of salvation – David, a fallen man, who upon repentance, was picked up, cleansed and restored, culminating in the giver of life – Jesus coming from his lineage to save lives.
Bartimeaus, the blind, calls on the name of Jesus and was made whole. (Rom. 10:13)
